Waterlot Inn

POINTS OF INTEREST

Waterlot Inn

This graceful, two-story manor house, which dates from 1670 and once functioned as a bed-and-breakfast, now holds one of Bermuda's most elegant and elaborate steak restaurants. The service is impeccable, with waiters that have just enough island exuberance to take the edge off their European-style training. Nestled in Jew's Bay, the restaurant also offers breathtaking sunset views. The Bermudian–Continental menu changes every season, but always offers an excellent fish chowder. If steak isn't your thing, grilled fish-of-the-day over a plate of local, colorful vegetables makes a perfect main course. Decadent desserts, like sticky toffee pudding, round off an extremely satisfying meal. A chic lounge at The Dock, outside the main restaurant, is the perfect spot to enjoy a postdinner cigar and live music.
